Note: Only DFW Airport has lounges. Dallas Love Field, home to Southwest Airlines, does not.
🧭 DFW Airport Lounges by Terminal

🪑 Terminals A, B and C
- American Airlines Admirals Club (A, B, C)
- Minute Suites (A)
- Gameway (B)
- Be Relax Spa (B)
American Airlines has a lounge in every single terminal. Minute Suites offers private rooms that you can book in 15-minute intervals. Gameway is a videogame lounge with Xbox, PlayStation and PC consoles, and Be Relax Spa offers massages.
✨ Terminal D (Best Lounges at DFW Airport).
- Capital One Lounge→ Best Lounge in Dallas Airport!
It’s no contest. Better food, space, and vibes. It’s just better. - American Express Centurion Lounge → Good food.
- The Club DFW → Best no-credit-card option.
- American Airlines Flagship Lounge → Expensive.
- Minute Suites → If napping on a bench is abhorrent to you.
- Be Relax Spa → Massage!
Ideally, your flight leaves from Terminal D or you have time to get there. This is where the best Dallas airport lounges are, all within a short walk from the security gate (or quick Skylink train ride). If you want good food, breathing room, and a place that feels like a break from the airport, you know where to be. Plan to arrive at the airport at least 1–3 hours before departure to allow enough time to relax and enjoy the lounge experience.
✈️ Terminal E Lounges at DFW
- Delta Sky Club
- United Club
- Plaza Premium Lounge
- American Airlines Admirals Club
- Gameway
Terminal E offers a few convenient lounge options, particularly for Delta and United travelers with lounge access. American Airlines travelers also have a space. For the Plaza Premium Lounge, you don’t need any affiliation, only a Priority Pass (often offered through travel credit cards), and for Gameway, you just need the desire to play video games and the willingness to pay for the opportunity.
🔑 How to Get into Dallas Airport Lounges
This is what everyone actually wants to know.

💳 No Credit Card? (Yes, You Still Have Options)
You can absolutely access DFW airport lounges without a membership:
- The Club DFW → Day pass ($50)
- Plaza Premium Lounge → Paid entry ($70)
- American Airlines Admirals Club → Day pass (~$79)
👉 This is the easiest path if you just want to relax before a flight. Just buy a Dallas airport lounge day pass. But that’s expensive, which is why you should sign up for a travel credit card instead.
💳 Travel Credit Cards (Best Value)

QUICK GUIDE:
- Capital One Lounge → Venture X Card
- American Express Centurion Lounge → Amex Platinum Card
- Plaza Premium and The Club DFW → Priority Pass (included with certain travel cards; offers access to multiple lounges)
👉 If you travel even a little, this pays for itself fast.
We could bore you with the details, but just get the Venture X credit card by Capital One. The fee is $399 but you get a $300 travel credit that is extremely easy to use. In other words, the true fee is $99 and that covers Global Entry + TSA Pre-check, Priority Pass, and Dedicated Lounge Access.
Venture X might not make sense for everyone, but if you travel and you live in a city with a Capital One airport lounge (like DFW), it’s a no brainer. You get 5x back on flights, 10x back on hotels, and 2x back on everything else. You have to have excellent credit (600+, ideally 700) but in return you get lots of points you can use to fund your travels.
Another popular credit card option is the Chase Sapphire Preferred which only costs $99 flat, but speaking as someone who has both, Venture X is better. Whatever credit card you choose, make sure to check the benefits. That’s how you access all these lounges. Make sense? If not, jump to the FAQ!

✈️ Airline Status & Tickets
- American Airlines → Admirals Club / Flagship Lounge
- Delta → Sky Club
- Business/First class → Often included
👉 Best if you’re in a committed relationship with one airline.
If you’re a loyalist who always flies the same airline, then yes — Admirals Club, Sky Club, or United Club makes sense. Between the three, we recommend Admirals Club. The flagship location is admittedly great, but you know what’s annoying?
If you’re not flying American Airlines or one of its partners, you can’t go in! We found this to be crazy. How could someone spend thousands on an American Airlines card and have an expensive ($800 or 80,000 miles) membership and still be denied access to the lounge? We have beef with that. But if you always fly the same airline, it won’t be a problem.

❓ FAQ: Dallas Airport Lounges (DFW)
What exactly is an airport lounge?
Is it expensive?
How does this all work?
Great questions! Preface: once you start going to airport lounges, you’ll never want to go back. You know how you have to arrive at the airport early, but how waiting at the airport sucks? Lounges change that! You relax, recharge and eat! Food is laid out semi-buffet style, and everything is included with the price of your membership.
If you buy a lounge pass for $50, you basically pay for a nice meal, some place to charge your phone for three hours and a comfy chair to sit in while you do. But there’s a better option:

Imagine you have Lounge access through a card with a $100 fee. Step into an airport 4 times, and you’ve only paid $25 per; 8 times and that becomes $12.50.
As you can probably tell, credit cards are one of the easiest ways to access airport lounges. Ideally, you’ll want a card that also includes Priority Pass (like Capital One Venture X or Chase Sapphire Reserve), that way you can access not just airline-branded lounges, but also independent lounges.
For example, with Venture X, you can go into the Capital One Lounge, but you can also enter Plaza Premium and The Club DFW.
And fun fact: there is Priority Pass lounge in almost every major airport, even abroad (India, Portugal, Spain, London, you name it). More than that, you can bring 2 guests with you. So, if you’re traveling with your parents, or a partner and a child, or two friends, you can all access a Priority Pass lounge with just one membership.
Can you buy a day pass for lounges at DFW?
Yes. Several Dallas airport lounges offer day passes, but the most affordable pass goes to The Club DFW at $50. That said, you can pay wayyyyyy less using a travel credit card/priority pass. See above.
Should I just buy a Priority Pass instead?
Good question. No. It’s not worth it. We won’t get into pricing details, but it’s usually best to get a Priority Pass through a travel credit card that includes it as part of the card’s annual membership benefits.
Then, you get access to all the priority pass Dallas airport lounges (Club DFW and Plaza Premium) as well as branded lounges like Capital One.
What is the best lounge at DFW Airport?
Most people lean toward the Capital One Lounge for its food, space, and overall experience. It’s the best. That’s a fact.

If you take one thing away: the best Dallas airport lounges are concentrated in Terminal D, and the Capital One Lounge is absolutely worth it if you can get in.
Even with recent 2026 changes, it still delivers the best overall experience — and if you don’t have access, a simple day pass at places like The Club DFW can still seriously upgrade your travel day.
Full disclosure: On rare occasions, we’ve had to wait to enter a lounge due to capacity limits. However, in our experience, this has been the exception rather than the rule.
